Scott has been playing, lecturing on and teaching music professionally for the last 20 years. He has played with the Banana Slug String Band, The China Cats and many others, as well as creating and performing his original compositions with the Scott Cooper Band. Scott has also worked in radio and has written extensively for more than 50 publications around the country, as well as several syndicated newspapers. More recently he has been teaching guitar at UCSC, both one-on-one and in a group setting.
